Brevini Power Transmission is consistently among the world’s top ten manufacturers in the power transmission sector, thanks to growing market shares in industrial applications (the iron and steel industry, plastics production, materials handling) and in innovative systems such as wind turbines, waste recycling plants, and energy production. Established in 1960 by Renato, Luciano and Corrado Brevini, it was the first Italian company to produce planetary gearboxes. In 2014 Brevini Power Transmission achieved a turnover of 305 million euros. Exports, which were 60% of the turnover in 2000, reached 87%. Brevini Power Transmission, with headquarters in Reggio Emilia, has several production units (in Italy, in Germany and in China), with 1,700 employees, 64% of which work in our factories abroad. The major investments that have been made since 2000 are combined with our focus on continuous training for our employees through our “Luciano Brevini” Training School, which first opened in 2001.
